VIP videos introduce subscribers to the basics of Cubase

Cubase interface

VIP Studio Sessions users will find a new series of tutorial videos on the platform showing them how to create Rap Beats in Cubase, the popular music creation software package. The videos demonstrate how to create original beats and drum patterns in Cubase; input chords; use effects and add virtual instrumental lines into a track; before arranging and sharing it.

‘VIP has been purpose-built for education,’ said Charanga’s Max Wheeler, VIP’s author, musician and producer. ‘It’s an excellent tool for encouraging more young people to get creative and get into music production. All young musicians and producers out there need to stay across the latest styles of music to hone their craft. We’ve added to that here by offering support for Cubase users.’
‘With its flexible tools, Cubase allows you to create any kind of music quickly and intuitively,’ said Richard Llewellyn, UK Education Manager at Steinberg, creator’s of Cubase. ‘Whether you’re a professional composer or a music production novice, VIP and Cubase combined can support you with everything you need to turn your ideas into finished music.’
