With the start of the new term upon us, we are offering our valued teaching community a series of enhanced features to support their work:

  • An Adapted for COVID Scheme providing an alternative to our standard Scheme – with signed songs and replacement activities if teachers have any concerns about teaching music safely. You need only decide which activities are appropriate for your students at any given time.

  • Free webinars to help with safe teaching practice, deciphering blended, hybrid and home learning, and helping children to catch up.

Flexibility and choice with Yumu

We hope you will have all children with you in the classroom this term, but where this may not be possible, you can provide hybrid, blended and home learning for them via Yumu, so that they can still enjoy their music lessons. If you’re unable to have the children singing safely in the classroom, Yumu is a great way to enable them to sing safely at home.

Additionally, every teaching unit within the Adapted for COVID Scheme is accompanied by a Musical School Scheme at Home Package, which includes all the resources from the unit. This will enable you to set appropriate tasks for your students to complete before, during or after their lessons.

Teaching music safely

Whatever decisions you take on the particular music activities you feel comfortable teaching, and the settings in which you need to support, be assured that Charanga can help you to provide stimulating and progressive music lessons whatever the circumstances.
