Anthony graduated from the Colchester School of Music with a B.A.(Hons), specialising in Performance and Composition with Singing as his main study. Following on from this he gained a PGCE (Sec) in Music (and Drama) from the University of Wales, Swansea.

He has taught Music and Drama in secondary schools for over 26 years, teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and Tertiary. His career started in Cardiff before moving to Devon in 1997, with his most recent teaching role being Head of Performing Arts at an “all-through” Academy, where he taught Music from Reception through to A Level. As well as working for Charanga, Anthony is also a Music Consultant with the Devon and Torbay Music Education Hub and a Singing Leader with Somerset Music. He is also an Accredited Trainer with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden working with their Create and Sing education packages.
