Ruth Jones
Projects and Relationships Manager
Ruth works closely with Charanga’s partners including Trinity College London, Youth Music and Awards for Young Musicians – as well as supporting Charanga’s Arts Award resources and delivering workshops.
Her career includes senior strategy roles for young people and arts organisations and an advisory panel member for the BBC, Arts Council England and Youth Music. As Chief Executive of Artswork, she developed and managed creative arts programmes to support vulnerable young people. Ruth has tutored BTEC Rock & Pop/Music Performance and Production and has extensive experience in delivering training courses and workshops for teachers and arts leaders.
Ruth plays bass guitar and sings regularly with her band, and was classically trained on clarinet.
